In my Bone Meal Utensils, this connection between past and present is revitalised, linking the wisdom of our ancestors to today’s sustainability challenges. By transforming food waste into useful objects, these utensils not only recognise the wisdom of our ancestors, but are also a modern response to the environmental crisis. In combining ancient traditions with modern innovations, I hope people will use them to reflect on the importance of our food supply and disposal systems for sustainable living.
