I approach design as a way to navigate uncertainty — turning emerging technologies and layered human needs into grounded, purposeful outcomes. My practice moves between physical systems and digital interfaces, exploring how design can shape not just objects, but experiences, decisions, and behaviors.
I began my training in product design at Xiamen University of Technology, where I built a strong foundation in user-centered thinking, prototyping, and interface design. That experience shaped how I approach both form and function in physical products. I’m now expanding this base through a Master’s in Innovation Design Engineering — a joint program between the Royal College of Art and Imperial College London — where I explore how design can intersect with AI, systems thinking, and sustainable engineering.
My focus is on projects that move beyond concept — work that gets built, tested, and put into the world. I designed the interface and user experience for a smart EV charging station, now in commercial use. I’ve also developed early-stage prototypes for a medical device in collaboration with a global healthcare company, contributing to both function and form. My work has been shown at the Shenzhen Hi-Tech Fair, where I exhibited an interactive prototype, and I’ve taken part in events like the Kickstarter China Developer Conference. Awards like the iF Design Talent Award 2025 and European Product Design Award have recognized my work — but real validation comes when something functions, ships, and creates change.
